KeepMD EOB Decoder connector privacy policy
This policy covers the public mcp.keepmd.org/eob service used by AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. The browser extension and the KeepMD app have their own policies.
What the connector receives
An AI assistant sends the connector the medical codes, insurance terms and dollar amounts you ask about. The tool schemas do not accept names, dates of birth, member IDs, claim numbers or statement text.
What we never collect
- No account, login or password.
- No statement, bill or document.
- No cookies and no tracking.
- No copy of tool arguments in our logs.
Infrastructure logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard request logs: request path, status code, timing and coarse location, for up to 7 days, for abuse prevention. They never include the content of a request.
Third-party sharing
No data is sold, shared or transferred to third parties. The connector contacts no external service: it answers from the public ICD-10-CM and HCPCS code sets and KeepMD-authored content bundled with the service.
Retention
Nothing is retained beyond the infrastructure logs described above.
Children
The service is not directed at people under 18.
